Fabrics
A wide range of good-value new un-dyed fabrics are available for sale. Margaret Borbone has a fabric sales table at the monthly meeting, with fabrics on the roll. If you know what you want, it helps Margaret if you let her know in advance, although it’s fine to browse on the day if you want to see the fabrics first. Bric-a-brack
At the monthly meeting there is a bric-a-brac table where you can buy a wide range of sewing-related items (threads, fabrics, books, patterns etc.). It’s always worth a rummage!
Print blocks
We were given a lovely donation of print blocks by Jaime Mason of Colouricous. Lots of blocks have been kept by the group for use in sub-groups or in workshops. You are welcome to exchange your own print blocks for some from our collection, just swapping ‘like for like’ in size and intricacy; this gives everyone some variety at no cost. Individual blocks available include elephants, hearts, Christmas, geometric, South American, Indian designs etc. Most of the box sets have been sold, but there are two still available to buy as shown below.
